In our Vegan Defender, we moved beyond simple vegetables to include Kombu (kelp) and Shiitake. This provides a bio-available source of iodine and polysaccharides (beta-glucans). These are essential for thyroid function and "priming" the innate immune system. We didn't just guess at these ingredients; we worked for months with an RHN to ensure the mineral density matches the complexity of animal-based broths.
