Combining the collagen and minerals of NourishYourself bone broth with the anti-inflammatory power of ginger and turmeric, this is functional food at its simplest. Ingredients 750ml NourishYourself Beef or Chicken Bone Broth 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated 1 tsp fresh turmeric, grated (or ½ tsp dried) 3 cloves garlic, minced Juice of 1 lemon 2 large handfuls baby spinach Sea salt and black pepper to taste Optional: pinch of cayenne, drizzle of olive oil, soft-boiled egg Method Warm bone broth in a pot over medium heat. Add ginger, turmeric, and garlic. Simmer gently for 10 minutes. Do not boil — keep it at a healing simmer. Add spinach and stir until just wilted, about 1 minute. Squeeze in lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately, topped with a soft-boiled egg and drizzle of olive oil if desired.
